Frequently Asked Questions

What if we lose a piece?
We recomend re-borrowing that item for another fortnight while you turn the house upside down looking for it! However if that fails, you'll be charged a small fine. Please note all our Puzzles have a strict replacement policy for missing pieces.
What if we accidently break the toy?
If the toy is returned in a state unusable by another member, whether that be a crucial missing piece, damage that may or may not be able to be repaired, you will be charged a replacement cost as determined by the committee.
What if we are unable to return toys by their due date?
Whether the kids are sick or you're out of town, just pop us an email or message on facebook and we'll extend your loan for another fortnight.
How do I clean the toys?
As a condition of your membership, you are required to clean all toys before returning them. A thorough wipe over with hot soapy water is all that's required for most items.

Volunteers

The Mount Gambier Toy Library is a not-for-profit community organisation run by volunteers. We're always on the look out for new volunteers, if you'd like to join our team please let us know. Each volunteer carries out 2 sessions per school term, 10 - 11.30am on either Monday or Saturday.

Donations

Having a toy room clean out? Yes, we accept donations! As long as items are in clean, good condition we'd love to know about them. Please get in contact with us via email or facebook and our toy committee will contact you and organise a time to drop them off.
